Australia 1884M Half Sovereign VF
Reported mintage of 48,000 coins, but nowhere near as easy to find as similar mintages in higher grades.
PCGS had 15 coins graded for 1884M about 5 years ago. That has increased to 30 examples. The five in MS grade would be unaffordable to most collectors. That leaves only 16 coins in XF44 to AU58 grades for collectors worldwide.
I believe this coin is a sleeper and of similar scarcity to 1885M (11k minted) and 1887M (9k).
