Australia 1880S Inverted A Sovereign PCGS AU58 – McD 127a
While the PCGS population of this popular error has expanded to 25 examples (as of October 2018) this coin is one of four, with none finer.
Minor damage to the planchet under the letter O in VICTORIA mars an otherwise extremely fine portrait obverse. The reverse side is gorgeous with just a couple of bag marks.
This is a rare opportunity to purchase an important error in such a high grade. This example comes from a UK collection and was only recently graded.
