Australia 1934-35 Florin – PCGS MS65
- Briggs Type 2B
An attractive example of the main business strike that would have been handed out to thousands of customers in Foy & Gibson stores. It has an unusual minting error, not often seen in this date. A crack or laminate error has melted away a portion of the rider’s torch.
The obverse is particularly attractive, displaying a warm toning. The portrait is highly polished on a matt field – superior example.
