Australia 2009 Perth Mint Sovereign PCSG PR68. The first modern strike of a sovereign made at the height of the great financial crisis of 2007-09. Mintage of 2,500 examples.
These coins are slabbed in standard PCGS holders with the “First Strike” label. This means they were shipped to PCGS within the first 30 days of production beginning.
Thus this example is one of the first struck Perth Mint sovereigns since production ceased in 1931. One to hold for the long term.
