Australia 1858 RR Half Sovereign PCGS VG Grade
Rarity of rarities. The 1858 dies were re-punched in order to extend their working life. One die was re-punched incorrectly, thus the RR error half sovereign came into being. It is one of the most sought after half sovereigns for investors and serious collectors. It is understood that the count is presently nine examples in existence. Only one coin has a numerical grade assigned by PCGS (07/23). RARE!
