Australia 1908 Melbourne Half Sovereign – PCGS XF45

  • S-3975

A relatively common date of some 240,000 examples. Dr David Briggs has studied the archives at Melbourne Mint and determined that 1907 and 1908 were minted at the same time in 1908. However, you’ll note in PCGS that 400,000 are recorded as being minted in 1907. This is the combined total of the two years.
